MacConnect still provides dial-up access to the Internet for legacy customers. At this time we are only accepting new dial-up access customers on a case-by-case basis. If you are in need of dial-up access to the Internet, please contact us and ask us how we can help.
MacConnect does not offer high speed Internet access. Thank your representatives in Congress for handling that market to the duopoly of the cable and telephone companies.
Yes! MacConnect offers domain registrations at a very competitive price. You are free to register a new domain or transfer your domain to us as part of any hosting account. You may also register a domain or transfer a domain as a stand-alone service with MacConnect (no hosting account required).
You will be able to manage your domain securely from within our account management and billing system, which is available on a 24x7 basis.
If you are using bulk email as a tool to gain new customers, then the answer is no. Our years of experience shows that this leads to problems in 98 percent of all cases so we simply do not allow it on our network.
If you are sending email to existing customers or publishing an informational newsletter for your customers or followers that they have asked to receive, then we have no problem with that. For lists greater than 100 people, ask us about list mailing services.
MacConnect provides world-class advanced spam and junk mail filtering through our partnership with MXLogic (now part of McAfee). This service filters all mail before it arrives in your inbox and keeps junk mail in an easy to manage quarantine for 7 days. Allow/deny lists (white/blacklisting) are available both on an individual level and globally for each domain.
MXLogic spam filtering is an option on all hosting accounts.
That depends on which of our hosting packages you choose. Our most economical hosting plan comes with 20 mailboxes. Plans with 30 and 50 mailboxes are also available.
Absolutely! The mail application on the iPhone and iPad will work just fine with any MacConnect account. Mobile Safari (the iPhone/iPad web browser) also works just fine to access sites on our network.
You can pay your MacConnect bill using a Mastercard, Visa or American Express card. We also accept payment via PayPal.
